Arson Suspect in Reno Fires ID'd

RENO, NV - A man is in custody and has admitted to starting two of the four fires being investigated by the Reno Fire Dept.

Captain Tray Palmer tells KOLO 8 News Now that Timothy Gray is in custody and has admitted to starting the fire at the National Automobile Museum and using a Molotov cocktail to start one other fire. Two of the fires are still being investigated.

The latest fire happened Friday, June 20, 2014 at the National Automobile Museum. One museum vehicle was damaged due to that fire. The fires that are under investigation occurred on the following dates and locations:

June 13, 2014: 740 South Center Street
June 18, 2014: 528 Sinclair Street
June 20, 2014: Fourth and Virginia Streets
June 20, 2014: 10 Lake Street

Evidence collected at the incident scenes, proximity, and times suggest that these fires were intentionally started and evidence links the suspect to the incidents.
