PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) - A substitute teacher in Pahrump has been
arrested on suspicion of having a sexual relationship with a
16-year-old student.

Nye County sheriff's deputies say 31-year-old Amanda McGough was
arrested Friday on charges of unlawful conduct between a school
employee and pupil, and open and gross lewdness.

McGough allegedly told investigators that she had been involved with the male Pahrump Valley High School student since at least April.

She's accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with the boy in a vehicle in public areas on more than one occasion, and of exchanging lewd, sexually explicit photos of herself with the student via email.

She also has worked at Rosemary Clarke Middle School in Pahrump,
and has been an administrative aide at that school and the high school.
