Study: Reno Airports Generate Billions for Economy
A study by two researchers at the University of Nevada, Reno says airport operations generate about $2 billion a year for the local economy.

RENO, Nev. (AP) - A study by two researchers at the University of Nevada, Reno says airport operations generate about $2 billion a year for the local economy.
The economic impact study on Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Reno-Stead Airport released by UNR's College of Business also found that the operations create about 22,000 jobs in the region.
Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority resident Krys Bart says the findings underscore the importance of air service to the region.
