Governor Brian Sandoval is telling state employees who commute on US 395 through Washoe Valley to stay home from work today, Friday January 20th.

Governor Brian Sandoval is telling state employees who commute on US 395 through Washoe Valley to stay home from work today, Friday January 20th.

The Nevada Departments of Public Safety and Transportation told Sandoval that US 395 through Washoe Valley will remain closed because of the fire, until further notice.

State government will, however, remain open for residents and employees who live in Carson City.
