YERINGTON, Nev. (AP) - A 36-year-old Stagecoach man convicted of
molesting five girls under age 14 likely will spend his life in prison.

A district court jury in Yerington deliberated nearly three hours on Monday before finding William Billy Jack Caron guilty of 10 counts of sexual assault of a child and four counts of lewdness with a child.

Prosecutors say he molested the girls ages 9 to 13 in his truck in the desert on trips to Carson City.

Caron's sentencing is set for June 13. The minimum penalties are
10 years on each lewdness count and 35 years on each sexual assault count.

His roommate, 21-year-old Andrew Carpenter, earlier pleaded guilty to having sex with the 11-year-old sister of one of Caron's victims. He's serving 10 years to life in prison.
