395 Back Open After Fires North of Reno

RENO, NV - The California Highway Patrol has reopened southbound traffic on Highway 395 north of Reno after a series of small fires. Northbound traffic is also open.

The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District says there were four fires, each roughly 20 by 30 feet, along the road, blowing heavy smoke Monday afternoon. The fires were along the state line near the agriculture station. All have been extinguished.

No cause has been determined.
