SPARKS, NV - Deputies arrest Sparks man for suspected sexual assault of a child and lewdness.

Phelan Monge, 33, was arrested by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office after the alleged victim reported he assaulted her prior to as well as on September 13.

After speaking to the suspect, the Detectives placed Monge under arrest for two counts of Lewdness with a Child under 14 and two counts of Sexual Assault with a Victim under 14.

Monge was booked into the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility, where he is being held on $60,000 bail.

I hope that guy gets what he has coming.i guess not as great as everybody or he thinks he is.i want to see the justice system work.

Do not JUDGE him when YOU don't really know the truth. He knows the truth and GOD knows the truth. He is innocent until proven guilty. This is sad and I hope that he is under false charges......

I've known him for 20 years, and it's no less shocking to me. Heck of a thing to see this headline and the face of a person you grew up around.
