Sparks Woman Arrested For Allegedly Trying to Rob Casino

SPARKS, NV - Sparks police arrested a woman who allegedly tried to rob the Rail City Casino Tuesday night.

According to police, officers were called out to an attempted robbery at 8:38pm. According to Rail City staff, Bonny May Miller went up to the Player’s Club desk with a note indicating she had a knife and wanted money. But no money is kept at that desk and she was turned away. Miller left the casino empty-handed.

Police say a Rail City security officer followed Miller and told police she was in the area of Amigo’s Auto Sales on Prater Way. She was taken into custody after a short foot chase.

Officers say they also found several prescription pills for which she had no prescription. She’s charged with attempted robbery and possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription.
