Sparks Police Search for Man Who Robbed Jacksons on Baring Blvd

SPARKS, NV - Officials with the Sparks Police Department are searching for the man who robbed the Jacksons Food Store on Baring Blvd early this morning.

A male dressed in all black and a mask walked into the Jacksons located at 1365 Baring Blvd around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013, and demanded money from the clerk, according to an official with the Sparks PD.

Officials say the clerk complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. They say once the suspect received the money, he left on foot toward the area of Reed High School.

The suspect is described as a younger, white male adult who is approximately 5'5'' to 5'8''. He was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Officials say the suspect was also wearing a "biker" type mask that had a skull on the front.

Officials describe the suspect's weapon as a small semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect was seen possibly getting into a waiting black SUV that was stopped on Baring Blvd, according to an official with the Sparks PD. The SUV is described as being either a Lexus or something similar.

Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with this robbery.
