Sparks Police Looking for Three Bank Robbers

SPARKS, NEV. - Sparks Police are on the lookout for three people related to a robbery at a Bank of America.

Police tell us the robbery happened around 4:45 PM Wednesday. Investigators believe the two suspects entered the Bank of America on 2650 Oddie Blvd. in Sparks, went up different tellers inside the bank and handed them notes demanding money. Both tellers did as the note said and gave the suspects an undetermined amount of cash. One of the tellers also claims they were verbally threatened by on of the suspects.

Both suspects then left the bank and got into a maroon Subaru station wagon, which was being driven by a third suspect, and drove away.

Officers on patrol in Reno then found the vehicle, it was unoccupied. Investigators have confirmed the car was Stolen in Sacramento, Calif. A witness in this area says the three suspects changed vehicles and got into an unknown make or model gray passenger car.

The three suspects are described as black males. One is believed to be between 28 to 32 years of age, 5'11, around 200 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes, a goatee and wearing a black P coat, with a black Oakland A's baseball hat, and glasses. The second suspects is believed to be between 20 to 27 years of around 5'11 with black hair, brown eyes and wearinf a dark colored hat and coat. No real description of the driver was given other than his race.
