SPARKS, NV - Police believe they found one of the two men wanted for allegedly robbing a restaurant employee as he was arriving to work in Sparks.

Sparks police have arrested 23-year-old Stuart Slocum suspected of being one of the men to rob a restaurant employee in Sparks while he was parking his car for work.

It happened Sunday, Jan. 2, two Sparks police officers were flagged down by an employee of a restaurant around 7:30 a.m., located in the 1400 block of East Prater Way and advised the officers that he had been robbed in front of the restaurant approximately two hours earlier.

The victim states that as he was arriving at work two male subjects stood in front of his vehicle forcing him to stop. One of the males then went to the drivers side while the other continued to stand in front of the vehicle.

The male who approached the drivers side then began demanding the victims wallet and tried to enter the vehicle. The victim managed to roll his window up however the suspect, who was armed with a rock, threw the rock through the window. Once the window was broken the suspect reached into the car and took the man's wallet.

The victim received a minor laceration to the left side of his head from the broken glass during the robbery but did not require medical attention. Due to a language barrier it is unknown why the victim did not immediately call the police.

The first suspect is described as possibly Hispanic, 18-20 years of age, approximately 5-6 with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect is described as an unknown race male, approximately 18-20 years of age, approximately 5-10 with curly shoulder length brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket.

Both men were last seen walking west bound on Prater Way and one of them might have had a small white dog with them.
