Sparks Police Investigate Wells Fargo Robbery

SPARKS, NV - Sparks police and the FBI are investigating the robbery of a Wells Fargo branch near the Sparks Marina.

Police say the robbery happened shortly before noon at the branch at McCarran and Lincoln. A man approached a teller with a note advising he was armed and robbing the bank. The teller gave the man cash and the man left through the bank's north doors.

Witnesses say the man is white and in his fifties, 5'6'-5'10' with a medium build, wearing a dark long-sleeve shirt, light blue jeans and a light colored baseball style cap.

No weapon was seen.

Secret Witness is offering a cash reward in the amount of $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person responsible. If you have information, please call Sparks police or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
