SPARKS, NV - Sparks police have arrested one man in connection with a domestic disturbance that included a shooting, argument and rock-throwing, and they are still looking for the shooter.

Police say Friday afternoon, a man and his girlfriend had an argument at their apartment on F Street. Shortly after that, someone shot at least two rounds from a 9-millimeter weapon at that man near the Oddie Boulevard K-Mart nearby; nobody was hit or otherwise hurt. The shooter has not been identified or found by police. Surveillance video indicates the shooter may have driven off in a white Pontiac sedan.

Soon after that, police say the man who was targeted by the shooter went to the home of his girlfriend's family on Greenbrae and threw several rocks at the home and car there. Inside the house was the girlfriend and the couple's four children, but nobody was hurt. Police arrested him shortly after that; he faces charges including assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse and destruction of property. He has been identified as Jonathan Sartor.

Police say they believe alcohol was involved, but Sartor is not providing any information to help the investigation. Police believe he knows the shooter.
