Three Arrested in Sparks Motel 6 Armed Robbery

UPDATE, 5/16:

Sparks police have arrested 3 suspects in Wednesday's armed robbery at a Motel 6 on Victorian Avenue. The suspects are Carina Beltran, Miguel Mejia, and his brother Manuel Mejia.

All three have been charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, grand theft auto and conspiracy to commit robbery and remain in custody on just over $80,000 bail each.

The stolen vehicle has been recovered. The woman identified as a person of interest in this case has been found and interviewed.

Detectives are still looking for other potential suspects; however, their identities will not be released at this time. Police say more arrests are expected

SPARKS, NV - The Sparks Police Department is investigating a Robbery with a Deadly Weapon that occurred Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2405 Victorian Avenue.

The victim was approached by three Hispanic male adults and one Hispanic female adult. The victim was assaulted and tied up.

They say the suspects were armed with knives during the attack.

The victim's vehicle, a 2000 Ford F150 four-door crew cab with NV plates 806 YJH, with a dented tailgate was stolen along with personal belongings and an undisclosed amount of cash was also taken.

The Sparks Police Department is looking for a woman seen in the attached image, described as a person of interest, with blond hair.
