SPARKS, NV - Sparks police have arrested a man they believe sexually assaulted a woman in a bar.

Police say March 9, 2014, the victim was talking with Jeremy Barrett, an acquaintance, at Morelli's Bar on G Street. Police believe she asked him for marijuana, and he agreed to sell her some in the women's bathroom so security cameras wouldn't catch them.

Police say when Barrett gave her a baggie of marijuana, she tried to leave the bathroom, but he stopped her by grabbing her and forcefully removing her clothes; then he assaulted her. After several minutes, police say she was able to pull away.

Detectives investigated and found probable cause to arrest Barrett Wednesday, April 2, for sexual assault.
