SPARKS, NV - Sparks police have reopened the intersection of Linda and Freeport in the industrial part of the city after a report of shots being fired.
Police say the occupants of a red Ford Mustang and a white Chevy Suburban were observed shooting at an unknown pedestrian as they drove through the intersection and then left the scene. The vehicles were then observed returning back to the intersection. The occupants of the vehicles exited and began to collect evidence of the shooting from the intersection.
No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting. One vehicle that was not involved in the incident was struck and damaged by gunfire. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
