Small Plane Crashes Near Spooner; No One Hurt

CARSON CITY, NV - The Carson City and Douglas County sheriff's offices are confirming a small plane went down Wednesday afternoon with three people onboard.

Carson Sheriff Ken Furlong tells KOLO 8 News Now the Cessna went down about three miles northeast of Spooner Summit, and that all three people are okay. They are a pilot and two passengers on a tour of the area; they had recently taken off from Carson City Airport.

The FAA is investigating the crash; no cause has been determined. The names of those onboard haven't been released.
