RENO, NV - A small brush fire above Scripps Ranch along East Lake Boulevard in Washoe Valley has been contained.
The fire reached about four acres in light wind, and didn't spread quickly. No structures were threatened, according to Truckee Meadows Fire Prevention District, but there are some that could have been if the fire burned over a ridge.
Several hand crews and the RAVEN helicopter worked to contain the fire, whose cause hasn't been determined.
