SPARKS, Nev. -- The Southeast Connector Project is now underway.

The original plan was to close Sparks Boulevard at Greg Street for 5 months during construction.

After input from local businesses, a new plan is being put into place. The change will keep one lane open in each direction during construction.

"The decision was made to modify our schedule to accommodate complete access to businesses," said Garth Oksol, PE, Project Manager. "We will continue to reach out to businesses and the community throughout the project".

While this will increase traffic in the area, it will provide access to Greg Street from Sparks Boulevard.
