RENO, Nev. -- Investigators are looking into a suspicious death which occurred after midnight Saturday morning in Washoe Valley.

Washoe County Sheriff's officials say one man was found dead inside a home in the 3900 block of Pershing Lane. His name is being withheld until notification of next-of-kin.

Investigators have not identified any possible suspect or even if the death was a homicide, suicide, or something else. What they have told us is deputies were called to the home for "a report of trouble unknown at the residence." Once there, deputies found the body and detectives were called to investigate.

Washoe County Search and Rescue crews were also called in to assist. They were asked to search a nearby area for possible evidence pertaining to the case. However, the Search and Rescue member we spoke with declined to name what exactly they were looking for.

The cause of death will be release after the planned medical examination.

Sheriff's Detectives ask that anyone with information about the case call them at (775) 328-6323, or contact Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900, www.secretwitness.com, or text a Secret Witness tip to 847411 (TIP 411) keyword - SW.
