Sheriff: Second Suspect Possible in College Attack

HOUSTON (AP) - The Harris County sheriff says there could be a second suspect in the aftermath of the Houston-area community college shooting that injured three people.

Sheriff Adrian Garcia said Wednesday that at least 10 shots were fired during a dispute that erupted Tuesday between two men outside the library at the North Harris campus of Lone Star College.

He said authorities are continuing to search for the firearm. Garcia did not offer any additional details on the role of a possible second suspect.

Twenty-two-year-old Carlton Berry has been charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault. He is under police supervision at a Houston-area hospital. It is unclear how he was injured.

Garcia says the two other people wounded in the shooting are recovering.
