Pedestrian Killed on 4th Near McCarran

RENO, NV – 4th Street is back open near West McCarran after a 33-year-old woman was killed Wednesday morning.

Police say the woman was walking in the road shortly after 4AM when she was hit by one car headed east, then another headed west. Police say both drivers are cooperating with the investigation.

Police say the drivers don't appear to have been speeding or intoxicated, and the pedestrian was wearing dark clothing in a low-lit area.

This accident is being investigated by detectives from the Reno Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team. Anyone with information in regards to this case is urged to contact the Reno Police Department Traffic Division at 334-2141 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
