RENO, NV - US 395 is back open in both directions at Cold Springs, north of Reno. It was closed THursday afternoon due to whiteout conditions and a crash involving 15 vehicles and two semis.

As many as 15 vehicles and two semis were involved in this crash that sent 8 to the hospital.

One victim is listed in critical condition and another in serious, the rest are non-life threatening.

There were two more reported semi rollovers on 429 in Washoe Valley and another at Highway 50 at 95A.

The dodge underneath the semi was my grandfathers. I'm so thankful he made it out of their alive.

I actually drove right thru the pile-up like I was in a twister movie! Me, and a 1 ton dually were driving along in both lanes and all of a sudden I dodged the car that was under the Knight trailer and got in behind the dually braking and swerving the whole way.I'm so thankful I didn't kill anyone or get killed myself!
