Rollover in Spanish Springs Sends Teens to Hospital

SPARKS, NV - The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a rollover in Spanish Springs that happened early Wednesday morning and sent several teens to a hospital.

Deputies tell us the accident happened about 1:30AM on Dolores Drive.

Investigators say 7 teens were inside the vehicle when the driver rolled the car.

The sheriff's office tells us the passengers were not wearing seat belts and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The driver was transported by Care Flight to the hospital, but the injuries are non-life threatening, according to the sheriff's office.

Two other teens sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital by ambulance.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation but alcohol does appear to be a factor, according to the sheriff's office.
