Robbers Take Money, Force Clerks Into Closet

RENO, NV - Reno police continue to investigate a robbery that happened Wednesday morning.

Shortly before 7AM August 6, 2014, officers were dispatched to the Money Tree at 2905 Clear Acre Lane. Clerks there say they were robbed at gunpoint and told to open the safe. When they got money, the robbers tied up the workers and put them in a closet before leaving in a vehicle witnesses say might be a white sedan.

The clerks say both robbers are black, one about 5’7”, 175-180 pounds, dressed in all black including bandanna and beanie, armed with the handgun, with a scar below the left eye. The other is about 6’0” and 170 pounds, and was wearing a black hoodie and jeans, with a black bandanna.
