Resurfacing Set for Reno Airport Parking Lot

RENO, NV - The Reno-Tahoe International Airport’s long-term parking area is set for a major resurfacing project.

Through August 28, the northwest portion of the long-term parking area will be closed for construction to resurface and enhance the existing lot. It is recommended that travelers park in the remaining open spaces available in the Surface Lot.

Due to the potential for limited space in the Surface Lot, motorists are encouraged to not take oversize vehicles (vehicles towing trailers, motor coaches, buses, etc.) into the lot.

To mitigate the impact on customers, the work will be done in several phases through the summer of 2015, designed to keep ample parking spaces open for the public.

The airport says every effort has been made to minimize the impact of the pavement maintenance program on customers. And for the convenience and safety of the traveling public, the pedestrian walkway will remain open during the project.
