San Fernando high school quarterback Chris Solano has given his verbal commitment to sign at Nevada, according to scout.com.
The 6'2", 175 pound Solano is a true duel threat QB who was named first team All-City last season.
He's been even better this year, passing for 3,870 yards and 42 touchdowns. He's also run for another 1,379 yards and 22 more TD's.
He's the second prep quarterback to commit to Nevada for next season, joining Spanish Springs QB Hunter Fralick. They join a team that is loaded at quarterback. Cody Fajardo and Devin Combs will be seniors. Tyler Stewart and Dustin Treick will be redshirt sophomores. And Dante' Mayes will be a redshirt freshman.
