SACRAMENTO - Several media outlets are reporting that Deonte Burton has signed a one-year contract with the Sacramento Kings.

The former Wolf Pack point guard averaged 20.1 points, 4.4 assists, and 4.3 rebounds last season as a senior, being named first-team All-Mountain West.

Burton had worked out with the Kings leading up to the NBA Draft. He recently played with the Washington Wizards in the NBA Summer League.

He ranks second all-time in career scoring at Nevada.

The Kings only have two point guards currently on their roster. Former Clippers' reserve Darren Collison and former Reno Bighorns guard Ray McCallum.
