Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill will begin a rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
Jack Macgruder, of FOX Sports Arizona, reports that Hill will join the Aces in Tucson and play at least four games. That includes a pair of home games in Reno beginning on Tuesday.
Hill has been on the disabled list since breaking his hand back in April. He's only played 10 games this season, batting .306 with two home runs and six RBI. He's a career .272 hitter in parts of nine big league seasons.
Hill is a two-time All-Star, including last season when he batted a career-high .303 with 44 doubles, 26 home runs and 85 RBI.
