RENO, Nev. -- With the the flu season well underway, it's always a hassle trying to see a doctor at your earliest convenience. Renown Health has developed a new tool to help you find care quickly and easier for you to get on with your day.

It's an online tool that will help you see how long it will take before a doctor or health provider can see you. It is accessible through a computer or smartphone. The tool is free and it can be sorted by location or shortest wait-time.

"We want individuals to able to make decisions regarding their health care on the go and putting it at their fingertips," Jeff Stout, Chief Nursing Officer said. "If you are on the go or if you need to see a provider, this helps you make the best decision possible and the fastest decision possible."

The feature will list the five emergency rooms (Renown Regional Medical Center FastTrack and regular ER, Renown South Meadows Medical Center FastTrack and regular ER and the Children’s ER) and nine urgent care locations in town. The display is also updated every 10 minutes.
