Reno, NV - Part of downtown Reno will be closed to traffic Monday night to make way for New Year's Eve festivities.
Thousands of people are expected in the downtown core to ring in the new year with a party and fireworks display hosted by downtown casinoes. The city will throw in police and cleanup responsibilities.
Beginning at 8PM, North Virginia Street will be closed from First Street to Fourth Street. The street will re-open once all festivity cleanup is complete.
