RENO, NV - An investigation conducted by the Reno Fire Department determined the powder contained in a suspicious envelope taken to the Reno Police Department was sugar, according to Reno police.
Police say an envelope containing powder was sent to a Reno couple, whose address was listed as the return address and the mailing address was addressed to a person in California, according to police.
Police say the couple put the envelope in a bag and took it to the Reno Police Department.
This caused the evacuation of the front lobby and other parts of the station that may have been threatened or exposed by the powder in the envelope.
