Reno Police Release Photos of New Person of Interest in Burglary

RENO, NV - Reno police are hoping someone recognizes the woman seen in a series of surveillance photos released as part of a burglary investigation, and they are looking for a second person of interest.

The morning of Sunday, July 27, 2014, police responded to the Silver Legacy parking garage in downtown Reno to meet with a female who had her vehicle burglarized while she was at a casino. The woman told police one of the stolen items was a credit card which had apparently been used by the burglar at several local businesses.

Based on the surveillance photos (seen in our photo gallery), a woman connected to the burglary is white and in her late 20s to early 30s with long brown hair. She may be driving a dark green 4-door passenger car, also seen on surveillance. Police say two other females may have been involved.

Based on Secret Witness tips, they believe 29-year-old Patricia Pinna is one of those other women. Pinna is also a person of interest in a Washoe County Sheriff’s Office case where it is believed she fled from deputies in a stolen green Honda passenger car in early August.

Detectives with the Reno Police Department and Washoe County Sheriff’s Office would like to speak with Pinna about these incidents.

Anyone having information relating to Pinna or these crimes is asked to contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115, or Secret Witness at 322-4900 or, or you can text the tip to 847411 (TIP 411) keyword – SW

The Reno Police Department would like to remind people to lock their vehicles and secure their valuables out of site when parking for an extended period of time.
