RENO, NV -- Officer Chris Johnson has been awarded the Reno Police Department Lifesaving Award for his heroics as he was congratulated by the city council.
August 23rd, Reno police responded to reports of an argument at the Rancho Sierra Motel, and found a man with multiple stab wounds in his chest and back. Officer Johnson immediately applied pressure, using table napkins from a nearby casino to stop the bleeding.

He has only been on the police force for 18 months. The man he saved is recovering from his injuries.
