Reno, NV (KOLO) - An investigation stemming from a murder in December of 2013 has led to the arrest of 23-year-old Stefen Johnson by the Reno Police Department.

On December 15th, 2013, officers responded to the Eldorado Hotel and Casino on a trespassing call. A male subject was being detained and had suffered a medical condition. He was later transported to a local hospital where he did not survive.

Reno police detectives responded and initiated an investigation while working in conjunction with the Washoe County District Attorney's Office.

Authorities determined the victim, Victor Victoria-Acevedo, had posted negative comments on social media about the Bubinga Lounge and was denied entry into the nightclub.

There was an argument then between Victoria-Acevedo and Johnson, who worked as a Bubinga security officer. According to authorities, Johnson used an excessive amount of bodily force against the victim, which caused injuries that resulted in his death.

An arrest warrant was executed Thursday, April 10th and Johnson was arrested on a 2nd degree murder charge.
