RENO, NV - Reno police have released a surveillance photo of a man they believed robbed a woman at gunpoint.

Police say April 28, 2014 at 9:42PM, a woman parked outside a business in the 3300 block of South McCarran Boulevard saw a white man pacing in front of the business while she spoke on her phone in the parking lot. When the victim finished her call and exited her vehicle, the man rushed at her and pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at her, demanding she get back in her car. When she refused, the man pushed the woman to the ground and took her purse.

Witnesses then saw him running southbound toward the nearby Rosewood Park apartments. The woman lost her purse containing her wallet and other miscellaneous items.

She says the robber is in his early 20s, about 5'7" and build, and was wearing a distinctive white and black coat.

Anyone with information on the identity of this man is asked to call the Reno Police Department at 334-2175 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
