RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police have identified a 48-year-old man killed in a head-on crash last week on the north side of town.
Police say Reno resident Eugene Rumpke was driving northbound on Sutro about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday when he apparently veered into the southbound lanes and was hit by a southbound vehicle.
Rumpke was pronounced dead at the scene. Three of the four people in the other vehicle were taken to a local hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Paintbrush north of Oddie Boulevard.
