RENO, NV - The Reno Fire Department ended its search in the recovery of a man's body from the Truckee River.

Just before 8:00 p.m. last night, Saturday, March 22, 2014, witnesses say they saw a man in the river shortly before 8:00 p.m.

The Reno Fire Department, with the help of Careflight, searched the Truckee River around Arlington Bridge. It is reported that the man was last seen just upstream of the Arlington Bridge, according to the Reno Fire Department.

Crews continued their search Sunday morning.

Crews searched upstream of Arlington Bridge for an hour and half; no body was recovered, according to the Reno Fire Department.

The Reno Fire Department says crews were able to do a thorough search of the river since the water levels are low. As of today, they are done with their search.

They say there are no plans to continue the search tomorrow.

It is currently unknown how or why the man got into the river.
