Reno Beer Crawl Celebrates the Luck of the Irish

RENO, NV - Enjoy one of the traditions of Ireland at this month's Reno Beer Crawl.

The beer crawl, which begins at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014, features Irish beer at Ceol Irish Pub and The Isles, according to an event organizer.

Participants will be able to sample domestic, nationally-recognized, and locally distributed craft beers at 15 different local bars, restaurants and taverns, according to an event organizer.

For $5, participants will receive a commemorative Reno Beer Crawl glass, wristband and a map to utilize for this self-guided event. The organizer says for an additional dollar, participants can enjoy 6-ounce samples equaling nearly half a beer at each of the participating businesses.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Sons & Daughters of Erin, an Irish heritage organization that revives, fosters and promotes Irish cultural events, interests, and sentiments.

The crawl ends at 6:00 p.m. with a raffle giveaway at the Waterfall. The organizer says participants have the opportunity to win over $400 in cash and prizes.

To enjoy the event, visit any of the participating businesses. To view participating businesses, visit the Reno Beer Crawl's website.
