GARDNERVILLE, NV - Two teens accused of starting the Ray May fire are still in custody, until a hearing next week.
Wednesday, they were formally charged with starting the fire that burned about six square miles.
The 15-year-old boys are accused of starting a campfire next to a fort they had built, and not putting the fire out.
That was a week ago Tuesday, about seven miles south of Gardnerville.
The boys' parents could have to pay $10,000 each to help with the fire costs, though that would only make a small dent. It cost more than $2 million to fight the fire, which firefighters fully contained Wednesday.
