Rattle Recall: Choking Hazard

By  |

WASHINGTON - Vera Bradley is recalling four different versions of its baby rattles because they are a choking hazard.

The recall covers all Vera Bradley Bear Ring Rattles and Bunny stuffed animal toys. About 98,000 rattles are being recalled because the pom-pom tail can come off.

The rattles have been sold at department stores and specialty gift shops and online since September 2012. Vera Bradley has received two reports that the pom-pom tail detached from the rattle. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately take the rattles away from young children and return them for a full refund.
