RENO, NV - RTC Ride bus drivers are voting overwhelmingly to go on strike if necessary -- that's accoring to union sources.

Union leadership for local 533 is declining to comment on its talks with MV Transportation. MV Transportation is the company that employees the RTC drivers, but the drivers are without a contract.

Union members tell us 97-percent of the union voted to strike if talks break down. Although there's a no-strike agreement right now, it can be dissolved with seven days notice.

Union members tell us they don't won't to strike, but getting time off remains a major issue in negotiations.
