RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police say two men arrested for allegedly robbing a Carson City bank are also suspected of holding up a Reno bank last week.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports 36-year-old Michael Smith and 44-year-old Kenneth Wayne Young have been booked into the Washoe County Jail for Thursday's holdup of the Nevada State Bank on West Liberty Street in Reno.
The men were arrested Monday in Carson City after a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank in Carson City.
Authorities say an FBI agent reviewed surveillance video from the Carson City holdup and recognized Young as being present when the Reno bank was robbed.
Both men were staying at a Carson City motel, and authorities say they found evidence linking them to both robberies.
