RENO, Nev. (AP) - Police have arrested one person, but are looking for two more in the carjacking and beating of a student at Truckee Meadows Community College.

School spokesman Kyle Dalpe says the victim was attacked about 9
a.m. Wednesday while parking his pickup in the overflow lot. He told campus police three people in an SUV crashed into a boulder before they beat him and stole his black 1996 Ford Ranger. He was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The single cab pickup has Nevada plates 813-XFR and a bumper sticker that reads "My monkey made me do it."

The suspects are described as a white man, mid- to late 20s, about 5-foot-9 with a stocky build, black hair and backward baseball cap; a white man in his 40s; and a woman about 5-foot-5 with red or brown hair.

One of the men was arrested in Sparks late Wednesday afternoon in the Los Altos/Kiley Ranch area after a massive search that included a temporary Code Yellow lockdown at Sepulveda Elementary.

The other two are on the loose.
