RENO, Nev. -- Police have identified the man killed Saturday night when his motorcycle crashed into another vehicle.
Reno PD investigators say 39-year-old Randy Melvin Farmer Jr. was riding his motorcycle northbound in the 2500 block of Sutro St. when he hit a vehicle that was turning from the southbound lanes into a business complex, crossing the northbound lanes as it did so.
Farmer died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
Investigators say the cause is still under investigation but say excessive speed may be a factor.
