Reno police are on the hunt for a hit and run driver, who sent two people to the hospital.
Police tell us, just before midnight Wednesday, a driver hit the two in a crosswalk on South Virginia street and Hubbard Way, near the Peppermill Casino. After hitting the man and woman, the driver took off.
Both victims were taken to Renown Medical Center, but so far there's no word on their conditions.
The man is in his 40s and is in criticle condition. He was knocked unconscious at the scene. The woman is in her late 20s and her condition is unclear, although, police say she was able to talk to them.
Meantime, we only have a vague description of the suspect's car. It's described as a small, black sedan.
Anyone who saw this accident happen is asked to call Reno Police or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
