Police Report 23 Arrests During Street Vibrations

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police say they made 23 arrests and issued 280 traffic citations during the five-day Street Vibrations biker festival.

Authorities counted 21 misdemeanor arrests and two felony arrests during the event that ended Sunday. Another five people were taken into civil protective custody.

The Nevada Highway Patrol reported one fatal crash during Street Vibrations. An unidentified motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning after being struck by a truck on Plumb Lane near U.S. Highway 395.

Officials say there were another forty property accidents and 25 involving injuries during the event, although it's unclear how many of those involved motorcyclist.
