Police Detain Suspect in Afternoon Bank Robbery

RENO, NV - Reno police and the FBI are questioning a man in connection with a bank robbery Thursday afternoon.

Police say around 1PM, a man walked into the Wells Fargo branch at 200 S. Virginia Street and showed a teller a note, and got away with cash. He didn't show a weapon.

Minutes later, police tracked a man matching the description of the robber to the nearby Cal Neva casino. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of what police say is a pre-existing medical condition, and he is considered a suspect in this case. His name hasn't been released.
