RENO, Nev. -- Sparks Police Department officials are looking for more information about a shooting that sent a bullet through someone's home.

It happened at about 10pm Friday, April 19th at Wedekind Road and York Way. When officers got there, they found about ten shell casings in the 4200 block of Wedekind.

Officers also found the bullet hole in a nearby apartment unit wall during the investigation. The bullet did not hit anyone inside the apartment.

People who were near the shooting when it happened report seeing several cars drive away very quickly after the shots were fired. However, no one got a good look at the people inside the cars.

Witnesses described one car as an older white sedan, but investigators do not know if that car was involved in the shooting or not.

Investigators do not know if the shooting which occurred mid-afternoon on the following day (April 20th) in the same area of Wedekind was related or not.
