Police Name Suspect in Downtown Stabbing

RENO, NV - The Reno Police Department is investigating a stabbing from Monday night.

Police say around 9:45PM, two men were arguing about alcohol near a homeless shelter on 315 Record Street. They believe 62-year-old Phillip Sledd stabbed the other man, who was transported to Renown with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Sledd is charged with battery with a deadly weapon. Police are still investigating.
